About the role
Google is looking for an Account Manager to join its Large Customer Sales (LCS) team, focusing on the retail and grocery verticals across Germany and French‑speaking markets. You will work with some of the most sophisticated online marketplaces and leading grocery retailers, helping them leverage Google’s advertising solutions to grow their businesses.
Key responsibilities
- Manage implementation and delivery of a portfolio of key client activities, maximizing in‑quarter performance and ROI.
- Identify expansion opportunities that align with customers’ Business Objectives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners such as gTech, International Growth Team, and Product Specialists to drive long‑term growth.
- Prioritize and deliver an excellent experience while working towards ambitious sales goals.
- Position Google’s AI‑driven advertising solutions and challenge existing media‑mix strategies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in advertising sales, business development, online media, or sales‑oriented marketing.
- Fluent communication skills in both French and German.
- Experience with retailers in the grocery and marketplace verticals is preferred.
- Familiarity with branding and performance‑marketing platforms is a plus.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities.
