Accountant – Cork (Southwest)

About the role

Enable Ireland is seeking a motivated Accountant to join its Southwest team based in Curraheen, Cork. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the organisation's financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple cost centres.

Key responsibilities

• Compile, monitor and report on financial accounts in line with best practice.
• Develop and manage budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Review and improve financial procedures to support organisational needs.
• Oversee the finance service for the IHA Southwest region.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.

Required profile

• Recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Minimum five years of relevant experience, preferably with multiple cost centres.
• Experience in managing staff.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
