Accounts Payable Team Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Manager to lead a dynamic AP team within a fast‑paced finance function. Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will drive operational excellence, support process improvement initiatives and ensure high‑quality supplier payment services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop a team of Accounts Payable professionals.
• Coach and mentor staff through regular 1‑to‑1 meetings and performance reviews.
• Allocate workload, monitor service levels and ensure timely invoice processing.
• Handle supplier queries and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Support month‑end closing activities and operational reporting.
• Contribute to process improvement and change projects across finance operations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of people‑management experience in Accounts Payable, Finance Operations, Procurement or Shared Services.
• Proven track record of developing high‑performing teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Experience in fast‑moving operational environments and exposure to change initiatives.
