Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Vertiv is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to bridge product design and full‑scale production across its manufacturing sites. The role supports the introduction of new products, drives process improvements, and collaborates with R&D and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to production plants during new product introductions.
• Identify and define improvement opportunities in manufacturing processes.
• Supply R&D with material, component, and assembly information based on current and future manufacturing technologies.
• Design and implement new manufacturing technology investments.
• Manage change‑management priorities and oversee their execution.
• Support prototype and beta series builds and generate related reports.
• Train local engineering teams on new products and accessories.
• Evaluate cost‑saving programs and pinpoint improvement opportunities.
• Create work and test instructions and production process flow diagrams.
• Lead project teams to ensure on‑time rollout of new products.
• Prepare analyses for make‑or‑buy decisions.

Required profile

• Technical university degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering or Industrial Systems.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar manufacturing engineering role.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Proficiency in CAD and technical drawing.
• Innovative thinking and goal‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in an international, cross‑functional environment.
