Agency Nurse – Dublin

About the role

Emerald Nursing is looking for experienced, compassionate Agency General Nurses to provide short‑term or long‑term coverage across a range of partner facilities in Dublin. You will deliver safe, patient‑centred care while quickly adapting to new clinical environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality nursing care in line with facility policies and Irish regulations.
• Conduct patient assessments, monitor conditions and accurately document findings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians and support staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with facility staff and agency coordinators.
• Respond to emergencies following established protocols and uphold infection‑control and safety standards.
• Adapt swiftly to different units, workflows and patient populations.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Valid BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum six months of general nursing experience in Ireland.
• Ability to work independently in fast‑paced environments.
• Strong communication, assessment and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Reliable transportation to travel between multiple facilities.

Required skills

• Current BLS/CPR certification.
