Alfresco Architect – Contract (Hybrid, Dublin/Cork)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Alfresco Architect to lead a complex upgrade of a major utility client’s ECM platform. The role involves migrating the existing Alfresco environment from version 7.4 to version 26 across five distinct environments, ensuring continuity of critical business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and hands‑on expertise for the end‑to‑end Alfresco upgrade.
• Manage platform integrations and guarantee data integrity for large volumes of enterprise data.
• Deliver architectural guidance, configuration and coding support tailored to a utility‑scale ecosystem.
• Collaborate with consultancy teams and client stakeholders to meet tight migration deadlines.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience with Alfresco Enterprise Content Management.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale Alfresco upgrades (preferably from 7.x upwards).
• Strong background in technical architecture/consultancy or senior development, ideally a blend of both.
• Experience working in large‑scale data environments or public‑sector/utility organisations.
• Immediate availability and ability to work on‑site two days per week in Dublin or Cork.
