Anaesthetic Registrar

About the role

The Mater Private Network is seeking a dedicated Anaesthetic Registrar to join its consultant‑led Anaesthetic Department. The role involves delivering high‑quality anaesthetic care across multiple hospitals and day‑case facilities in Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Provide anaesthetic support in operating theatres for a wide range of surgical procedures.
• Deliver critical care services within Intensive Care Units, ensuring patient stability.
• Manage pre‑operative, intra‑operative and post‑operative pain and patient monitoring on wards.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams to maintain safety standards.

Required profile

• Current full registration with the Irish Medical Council.
• Registrar‑level experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication skills.

Required skills
