Applied AI Architect (Startups)

About the role

Anthropic is looking for an Applied AI Architect to join the Startups segment. You will act as a trusted technical partner for early‑stage companies, helping them design, evaluate, and deploy solutions built on the Claude Developer Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to understand startup requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Lead technical evaluations, demonstrating why Claude is the optimal foundation for each use case.
• Guide founders and engineering teams on architecture decisions, context engineering, and scaling AI products.
• Collect insights on emerging use cases and feed them back to Anthropic’s Product and Engineering teams.
• Represent Anthropic at customer sites, startup events, and industry conferences for workshops and deep‑technical demos.

Required profile

• 5+ years in technical customer‑facing roles (Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or technical founder).
• Experience working with high‑growth startups and understanding their rapid development cycles.
• Strong credibility as a software engineer or technical founder, able to speak the language of builders.
• Deep knowledge of AI product development, LLM deployment, and best‑practice engineering.
