Apprentice Toolroom Technician

About the role

We are looking for an Apprentice Toolroom Technician to join our Orthopaedics manufacturing team in Cork. Over a four‑year apprenticeship you will learn to produce, modify and inspect precision components using both manual and CNC machining techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the manufacture of precision parts for orthopaedic devices.
• Perform modifications and inspections of components to meet quality standards.
• Support toolroom technicians and engineers in troubleshooting tooling‑related production issues.
• Maintain and set up manual and CNC machines under supervision.
• Document work and follow health‑and‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a four‑year apprenticeship program.
• Strong interest in manufacturing and toolroom operations.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team‑oriented environment.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Cork, Ireland.
