Assigned Certifier – Architectural Practice (Dublin)

About the role

Our client, a well‑established design‑led architectural practice in County Dublin, is seeking an Assigned Certifier to join their team. The role will involve working on a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential and hospitality projects, ensuring that each development complies with Irish building regulations from the earliest design stages.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with construction, design teams and local authorities to secure compliance throughout project lifecycles.
• Prepare and submit all necessary certification documentation and reports.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor progress against regulatory requirements.
• Provide expert advice on complex construction issues and regulatory interpretation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Building Surveying.
• Chartered Engineer, Registered Surveyor or MRIAI qualification.
• Minimum 5 years experience working with Irish Building Regulations.
• Proven experience on complex construction projects and site inspection.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
