Assistant Producer – Sport

About the role
The Assistant Producer – Sport will work at the centre of live sports broadcasting, combining editorial, analytical and graphics duties to create compelling real‑time storytelling. You will support the production team from pre‑production through live output and post‑match analysis, ensuring coverage is accurate, insightful and visually engaging.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and coordinate replay, data analysis and graphics workflows during live sports events.
- Deliver accurate and timely editorial content for broadcasts and digital platforms.
- Use telestration and Piero‑style tools to enhance on‑screen analysis.
- Collaborate with operators, analysts and production staff to maintain high‑quality visual storytelling.
- Support pre‑production planning and post‑match review across a range of sports including UEFA Champions League, Six Nations, International football and the League of Ireland.
- Adapt to flexible working hours aligned with live sport schedules.
Required profile
- Strong passion for live sport and willingness to work flexible hours.
Required skills
- Experience with replay systems.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools for sports broadcasting.
- Knowledge of telestration/Piero‑style graphics tools.
- Ability to operate live graphics software.
