Audit Senior – Practice Role in Cork

About the role

We are seeking an Audit Senior to join a well‑established accountancy practice in Cork. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with at least two years of practice‑based audit experience to progress their career within a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and deliver audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of SME and corporate clients.
• Plan, execute and complete audits in line with professional standards.
• Guide and review the work of junior team members, fostering their development.
• Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and provide practical, value‑added advice.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA‑qualified Chartered Accountant.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a practice‑based audit role.
• Strong technical understanding of audit and accounting standards.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CaseWare or similar audit software (advantageous but not essential).
