AWS Data Engineer – Build Data Pipelines & Platforms

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AWS Data Engineer to join SoSafe’s data team. You will design, build and operate data pipelines that power our cybersecurity products, analytics and AI initiatives. The role combines hands‑on development with platform reliability and collaboration across product, analytics and machine‑learning teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and platform components on AWS.
• Implement ingestion, processing and serving workflows using Airflow, event‑driven patterns and Kafka.
• Enhance platform reliability through monitoring, alerting, CI/CD pipelines and Terraform‑based infrastructure.
• Collaborate with analytics, product engineering and ML teams to deliver clean datasets, event schemas and data contracts.
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues, resolve data quality problems and support new use‑cases.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and document solutions for long‑term maintainability.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience building and operating production data pipelines, preferably on AWS.
• Strong ownership mindset – you see tasks through from implementation to validation and documentation.
• Clear communicator who works well with engineers, analysts and product partners.
• Fluent English.
