AWS DevOps Engineer – Dublin/Remote (2 days onsite pw)

About the role

We are seeking a mid‑level AWS DevOps Engineer to join a leading technology provider for life‑science regulatory processes. The role is based in Dublin with the flexibility to work remotely, requiring two days on‑site each week.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, QA, and architects to design and implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python (or similar) and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Own security at scale, ensuring high‑quality deployments and incident response when needed.
• Build, maintain, and enhance Kubernetes clusters on AWS.
• Provide evidence‑based solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and continuously improve platform reliability.

Required profile

• Approximately 5 years of commercial experience in a Platform/DevOps environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes clusters (both building and maintaining).
• Strong background with AWS services and infrastructure‑as‑code, preferably Terraform.
• Daily scripting/automation using Python or Go.
• Eligibility to work permanently in Ireland.
