AWS DevOps Engineer – Dublin/Remote (2 days onsite pw)

About the role

We are seeking a mid‑level AWS DevOps Engineer to join a fast‑growing platform team supporting life‑science regulatory technology. The position is based in Dublin with a hybrid model (2 days onsite per week) and offers the chance to work closely with developers, quality engineers, and architects on complex automation and CI/CD challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with development and quality teams to design and deliver robust cloud architecture.
• Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines at scale, ensuring security and high‑quality deployments.
• Automate processes using Python (or similar) and contribute to incident response when required.
• Work with Kubernetes clusters, Terraform IaC, and a wide range of AWS services.
• Provide evidence‑based recommendations, troubleshoot issues, and adapt solutions as needed.

Required profile

• Approximately 5 years of commercial experience in a Platform/DevOps environment.
• Hands‑on expertise with Kubernetes clusters (both building and maintaining).
• Strong background in AWS services and infrastructure‑as‑code, preferably Terraform.
• Daily scripting and automation experience using Python and/or Go.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
