Backend Platform Software Engineer

About the role

AMCS is looking for a highly skilled Backend Platform Software Engineer to join its Platform Engineering group. In this hands‑on role you will design, build and continuously improve the foundational platforms, tooling and automation that enable product engineering teams to deliver software efficiently, securely and at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable platform services, reusable frameworks and infrastructure components.
• Build and operate cloud‑native infrastructure using Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform and Bicep.
• Implement SecOps and DevOps best practices to ensure reliability, resilience and security.
• Improve observability through metrics, logging and tracing and drive system reliability.
• Create internal tools, automation and workflows that boost engineering productivity and developer experience.

Required profile

• Strong motivation and hands‑on engineering mindset.
• Experience designing and delivering platform capabilities that support multiple product teams.
• Ability to work across domains such as cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, container orchestration, event streaming and observability.
