Beauty Buyer – Pharmacy Group (Limerick)

About the role

We are looking for a commercially‑driven Beauty Buyer to join a well‑established pharmacy group in Limerick. You will own the buying strategy for OTC, wellness, skincare and healthcare ranges, driving sales, margin and overall category performance across multiple stores.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement buying strategies across beauty and health categories.
• Manage product ranges to ensure commercial performance and customer relevance.
• Analyse sales data, trends and margins to optimise mix and pricing.
• Identify new products, suppliers and commercial opportunities.
• Monitor sales performance and act on under‑performing lines.
• Drive margin through effective pricing and supplier negotiations.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Oversee stock levels to ensure availability while minimising waste and shrinkage.
• Track key KPIs such as margin, stock accuracy and waste.

Required profile

• 2–3+ years’ experience in buying, procurement or category management.
• Experience in pharmacy, retail or FMCG environments is highly desirable.
• Strong commercial awareness with a focus on margin and sales.
• Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers.
• Strong analytical skills.
