BIM Lead – Digital Delivery & Data Centre Projects

About the role

Echelon Data Centres is expanding its Dublin team and seeks an experienced BIM Lead to shape and drive the digital delivery of its international data‑centre portfolio. You will establish, lead and continuously improve building information management across a fast‑growing set of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between digital technology vendors, design consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Define, implement and govern the company’s BIM and digital delivery strategy aligned with business growth and project objectives.
• Maintain BIM standards, processes and governance, ensuring compliance with ISO 19650 and client‑side information‑management best practices.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation and automation in digital project delivery.
• Lead the rollout of a common data environment (CDE) and related digital applications across all design projects.
• Set up project standards, permissions, folder structures, workflows and approval processes for consistent information exchange, coordination and reporting.
• Drive adoption, compliance and effective use of BIM tools among internal teams and external consultants.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading BIM and digital delivery on large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of ISO 19650 principles and client‑side information management.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to define and standardise processes, standards and information requirements.
• Strategic mindset with influence over digital tools, vendor relationships and consultant performance.
