Business Intelligence Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Administrator to manage and optimise our BI platforms in Dublin. You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end administration of Power BI and Tableau environments, ensuring data reliability, security and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Power BI workspaces, dataflows, semantic models and deployment pipelines.
• Manage Tableau Cloud/Server sites, projects, permissions, extracts and refresh schedules.
• Migrate Tableau Server instances to Tableau Cloud, including configuration of Tableau Bridge for on‑prem data.
• Monitor capacity usage, costs and system health; create and publish admin dashboards.
• Implement security and governance controls such as RLS/OLS, sensitivity labels, auditing and SSO with Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Python and the Power BI/Tableau REST APIs.

Required profile

• 8+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years in BI administration.
• Proven expertise in Power BI and Tableau administration.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake and modern data‑lake concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to produce clear operational reports.
