About the role
The Careers Advisor will join the Careers and Employability Service within the Student Skills & Success division. Reporting to the Head of Careers and Employability, the role supports students at all stages of their university journey, helping them plan and progress their careers.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one career guidance and coaching to students.
- Design and deliver careers education sessions in partnership with academic staff.
- Run workshops and group events covering employability skills.
- Engage with employers to create networking, placement and recruitment opportunities.
- Contribute to university‑wide employability initiatives and strategic plans.

- Self‑motivated, flexible and dedicated to student development.
- Strong communication, collaboration and project‑management abilities.
- Commitment to the university’s mission of creating better futures for all graduates.
