Category & Content Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Category & Content Lead to head a team of Content Executives for a well‑established Irish eCommerce retailer. The role combines people management with commercial delivery, ensuring the website’s content, category performance and on‑site experience drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of five Content Executives, setting clear priorities and accountability.
• Own day‑to‑day content operations, guaranteeing accuracy, consistency and high‑quality output across the site.
• Manage assigned product categories, improving performance through content optimisation, merchandising and SEO/SEA tactics.
• Monitor KPIs, analyse performance data and identify opportunities to boost conversion, average order value and revenue.
• Collaborate with Buying, Marketing and Operations to align content with campaigns, promotions and product launches.
• Maintain catalogue accuracy, structure and governance using CMS, PIM and ERP systems.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience in eCommerce, online retail or digital trading.
• Proven experience managing a team with direct reports.
• Strong commercial awareness and a track record of improving online performance through content and optimisation.
• Comfortable working with KPIs, reporting and performance data to drive decisions.
• Full legal right to work in Ireland and ability to commute to a North Dublin office.
