Category Manager – Maternity Leave Cover

About the role

Heineken is looking for a Category Manager to cover a maternity leave period. You will join a dedicated Category & Customer Marketing team, reporting to the Category & Shopper Marketing Controller, and work closely with key retailer partners to grow the beer and cider category across convenience and specialist channels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic partnerships with retailers, analysing market trends and building collaborative growth plans.
• Support customer range reviews, merchandising changes, store trials and ad‑hoc projects with data‑driven recommendations.
• Generate consumer and shopper insights and work with internal and external stakeholders to shape plans that drive growth.
• Contribute to annual category and brand planning, ensuring the category growth agenda remains top of mind.
• Review monthly data, translate market and category trends, track NPD performance and identify growth opportunities in space, distribution and merchandising.
