Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Deep‑Tech Spin‑Out

About the role

ENTICE is seeking an ambitious Chief Executive Officer to lead its deep‑tech spin‑out that commercialises a proprietary platform for next‑generation millimetre‑wave and sub‑THz passive RF components. The CEO will work closely with the founding scientific team to shape strategy, secure investment and build a scalable manufacturing business.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the company’s strategic vision, business plan and growth roadmap.
• Lead fundraising activities, securing seed, Series A and other investments.
• Build and manage high‑performing commercial, operational and technical teams.
• Develop and implement a commercialization strategy that translates world‑leading RF research into market‑ready products.
• Establish strategic partnerships with customers and industry leaders in telecommunications, space, defence and related sectors.
• Engage with customers to validate market needs, shape the product roadmap and identify new business opportunities.
• Set up scalable manufacturing, operations and supply‑chain capabilities.
• Represent ENTICE to investors, customers, partners and at major industry events worldwide.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Physics or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of commercial leadership, business development or executive management experience in semiconductors, telecommunications, aerospace, defence, photonics or a comparable deep‑tech sector.
• Proven leadership experience in a start‑up, scale‑up or technology business.
• Established network of C‑suite contacts and strong relationships with investors and board members.
• Demonstrated ability to define product strategy and drive product definition.
