Childcare Practitioner – Early Years Educator

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Early Years Educators to join our vibrant crèche in Cherrywood, Dublin 18. The role involves caring for children from babies to preschool age, delivering high‑quality early learning experiences and supporting families.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing environment and high‑quality care for children.
• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Communicate daily with parents/guardians about their child’s progress and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with team members and leaders to maintain smooth operation of the crèche.
• Participate in themed days and special events as required.
• Report any concerns to the team leader or manager promptly.
• Co‑operate with TUSLA Early Years Inspectors during inspections.

Required profile

• Minimum QQI/FETAC Level 5 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent recognised by DCDE).
• Eligibility to work full‑time in Ireland.
• Garda Vetting and, if applicable, international police clearance.
• Genuine passion for early years education, creativity, and strong teamwork orientation.
• Additional qualifications and experience in early childhood education are highly desirable.
