Civils Site Manager – Heavy Civils & Groundworks

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civils Site Manager to lead the heavy civils and groundworks package on a large‑scale residential development in South Dublin. You will work closely with the project team to ensure safe, high‑quality delivery within programme targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all heavy civils and groundworks activities on site.
• Oversee subcontractors and site teams, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards.
• Maintain quality control and monitor progress against the programme schedule.
• Collaborate with the wider project team to resolve technical and logistical issues.
• Report on site performance, risks, and mitigation measures.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of construction industry experience.
• Strong background in heavy civils and groundworks.
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Experience on residential or mixed‑use projects is preferred.
• Demonstrated focus on health & safety, quality, and programme delivery.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
