Civils Site Manager

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Civils Site Manager to lead on‑site civil crews delivering network infrastructure projects. You will ensure all works are carried out safely, on schedule, and in full compliance with drawings, specifications and company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Review, inspect and approve completed work from site teams.
• Conduct weekly quality audits using the company workflow system.
• Maintain compliance with council road‑opening licences and ensure timely reinstatement.
• Report daily to the Head of Civils with updates on progress and issues.
• Manage site operations from commencement to completion, overseeing labour, plant and subcontractors.
• Deliver projects safely, on schedule and within budget while monitoring quality and compliance standards.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders and project teams, preparing progress reports and site documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in civil engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years’ experience on civil/utility networks.
• Proven experience supervising multi‑disciplinary teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• CSCS certification (SLG, LUGs) and advanced reinstatement training are desirable.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Full UK driving licence.
