Cloud Engineer – Database Automation

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Cloud Engineer who will design and deliver automation for PostgreSQL and distributed SQL databases at scale. You will build innovative cloud data solutions that enable reliable, secure, and high‑performing deployments across public cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automation modules for deployment and migration of PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, and YugabyteDB on AWS and Azure.
• Develop and maintain a unified deployment pipeline supporting multiple cloud providers.
• Collaborate with cloud database architects, developers, security, and operations teams to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
• Participate in Agile development cycles and contribute to continuous improvement of CI/CD processes.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience as a database automation engineer with deep technical expertise.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence.
• Solid understanding of Cloud DevOps, infrastructure‑as‑code, and source‑code management.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

• Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipeline automation
• Relational and distributed SQL database administration (PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, YugabyteDB)
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms
