Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, secure and maintain scalable cloud platforms that support business‑critical applications. The role sits at the intersection of DevOps, security and architecture, working with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, cost‑effective cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure or Google Cloud environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation or similar tools.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise cloud environments for performance, availability and cost.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Configure and manage Kubernetes and Docker container platforms.
• Ensure cloud security best practices, compliance and governance standards.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security and Development teams on platform improvements.
• Support disaster recovery, backup and business continuity strategies.
• Automate operational tasks with Python, Bash or PowerShell scripts.

Required profile

• 3‑7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of networking, VPNs, firewalls, DNS and load balancing.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible or similar automation tools.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix administration and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog or CloudWatch.
• Strong scripting and automation skills.
• Understanding of security, IAM and compliance frameworks.
