Collections Advisor

About the role

We are looking for a Collections Advisor to join our Galway office. In this role you will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, recover outstanding debts and provide a high‑quality, empathetic service to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls and respond to inbound inquiries to collect on overdue balances.
• Negotiate payment arrangements that balance customer needs with company objectives.
• Provide accurate information on account status and payment options.
• Maintain detailed records of all communications and actions taken.
• Escalate complex or at‑risk accounts to senior team members.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction while meeting collection targets.
• Participate in training sessions and share best practices with the team.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in collections, customer service, or a related field.
• Positive, customer‑focused attitude with strong empathy and patience.
• Proactive, adaptable and willing to learn.
• High level of integrity and commitment to ethical standards.
• Basic knowledge of collections processes and regulatory requirements is a plus.
