Community Nurse Manager – Homecare

About the role

Comfort Keepers is seeking a passionate Clinical Nurse Manager to lead its home‑care team in Cork. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care in the community, guiding nurses and Home Support Workers to improve clients’ quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily delivery of home‑care services and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Provide clinical leadership, conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Mentor and train nursing staff and Home Support Workers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic client care.
• Monitor performance against quality standards and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a minimum of 3 years’ nursing experience.
• Experience in homecare or community care is desirable.
• Proven leadership abilities and a strong commitment to client wellbeing.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and care‑plan development.
• Knowledge of homecare regulations and best practices.
