Community Nurse – South Dublin & North Kildare (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Join a dynamic community health team delivering high‑quality care across South Dublin and North Kildare. This 12‑month fixed‑term position involves travelling throughout Leinster, providing nursing services in patients' homes and coordinating with integrated care teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cannulation and phlebotomy procedures.
• Administer and educate patients on subcutaneous and IV therapies in home settings.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and complete electronic nursing records accurately and promptly.
• Report adverse events, product complaints, and clinical incidents according to policy.
• Support the triage team by assessing referrals and sign‑posting patients to appropriate services.

Required profile

• Registered nurse with An Bord Altranais registration.
• Minimum 5 years post‑registration experience in acute hospital or community settings.
• Full clean driver’s licence and willingness to travel domestically.
• Interest in community nursing and ability to work independently as well as within a team.
