Construction Manager – Manufacturing Facility Expansion

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead a major manufacturing facility expansion in North Cork. The role is site‑focused, with at least four days a week on‑site, acting as the client’s representative and coordinating all contractors, consultants and stakeholders to deliver the project on time and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day construction activities across the site.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors and specialist suppliers.
• Serve as the primary site representative for the client.
• Ensure programme milestones are achieved safely and efficiently.
• Oversee civil, structural, architectural and internal finishing works.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical installation activities.
• Monitor quality, compliance and health & safety standards.
• Participate in client, contractor and design coordination meetings.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Construction, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Previous experience as a Construction Manager, Senior Site Manager or Project Manager in Ireland/UK.
• Strong consultancy or Tier‑1 main contractor experience, preferably on industrial or manufacturing projects.
• Proven client‑facing and stakeholder management abilities.
• Full driving licence with ability to travel throughout North Cork.
