Consultant Anaesthesiologist – Intensive Care Medicine

About the role

The position is a permanent consultant appointment within the RCSI Hospitals Group, based at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin. The role combines clinical duties in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine with a small allocation of duties for the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Provide anaesthetic care for surgical patients across a range of specialties.
• Deliver intensive care medicine services in the intensive care unit.

Required profile

• Registered in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners (Medical Council of Ireland) in Anaesthesiology.
• One year certified postgraduate training in Intensive Care Medicine.
• Holder of the Fellowship of the Joint Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine of Ireland or an equivalent qualification.
