Corporate Legal Vice President – Technology & Outsourcing

About the role

An experienced commercial technology lawyer is needed to join a global organisation in Dublin. The role sits within a respected legal team supporting technology, operations and procurement across the EMEA region, advising on complex technology and outsourcing arrangements, regulatory developments and strategic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate ICT, outsourcing, SaaS/cloud, consultancy and supplier contracts.
• Advise Procurement, IT, Operations, Data Privacy and Third‑Party Management on legal and regulatory risks.
• Provide guidance on DORA, GDPR, outsourcing frameworks and emerging AI legislation.
• Support negotiations on strategic vendor and outsourcing arrangements.
• Develop contract templates, playbooks and guidance documents.
• Deliver training on contractual risk and third‑party management.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and advise on impact.
• Assist with dispute management and propose commercial solutions.
• Collaborate with international legal teams on regional and global projects.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 5‑8+ years PQE in a leading law firm, financial institution or large multinational.
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating technology and commercial contracts.
• Knowledge of outsourcing, GDPR and technology‑related regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a regulated environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Cross‑border or international experience is advantageous.
• Exposure to AI governance or emerging technology regulation is a plus.
