Creative Director – Commercial Spaces

About the role

We are partnering with a long‑established Cork‑based company that designs and delivers high‑quality commercial installations across Ireland. They are seeking a Creative Director to own client relationships and bring a strong creative vision to commercial spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client relationships across a portfolio of key commercial accounts.
• Conduct site visits to understand space, intent, and technical context.
• Develop lighting and decorative concepts that are imaginative and deliverable.
• Translate ideas into clear, costed proposals for client approval.
• Collaborate with internal design and installation teams to ensure delivery matches intent.
• Identify opportunities to evolve and grow existing client relationships.
• Manage own pipeline and workload across nationwide projects.

Required profile

• Creative background in interior design, architecture, lighting, visual merchandising, set design or similar.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a client‑facing, design‑led or specification environment.
• Strong ability to translate ideas into visual, spatial or conceptual proposals.
• Confident presenter, able to guide clients from informal talks to formal presentations.
• Excellent organisational skills and ownership of multiple live projects.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SketchUp.
• Experience using CAD software.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (or similar design tools).
