Creator Experience Policy Analyst, YouTube Monetization Trust and Safety

About the role

The Creator Experience Policy Analyst works within YouTube’s Trust & Safety team to shape a clear, consistent policy environment for creators. You will help protect the ad ecosystem, streamline appeals, and ensure policy launches are smooth and understandable.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine policy guidance for monetization, brand‑unsafe content, and advertiser‑friendly guidelines.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to automate policy implementation, including the use of generative AI.
• Analyze data to improve video‑appeal processes, demonetization explanations, and turnaround times.
• Support cross‑functional teams across time zones, handling off‑hours and weekend on‑call duties.
• Monitor and respond to large‑scale abuse and fraud incidents affecting creators and advertisers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in data analytics, trust & safety, policy, cyber‑security, or related fields.
• Ability to work across time zones with occasional off‑hours and weekend on‑call responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex issues into clear language.
