Crushing & Screening Supervisor – Fly‑In‑Fly‑Out (PNG)

About the role

Nacap is seeking an experienced Crushing & Screening Supervisor to lead the safe and efficient operation of a tracked mobile crushing and screening plant on a fly‑in‑fly‑out roster in Papua New Guinea. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for delivering processed material that meets quality and grading specifications while mentoring PNG national personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee technical operation and configuration of the mobile crushing and screening plant to match material type, feed size and production targets.
• Monitor wear of crusher jaws, cones, mantles, blow bars, liners and screening media and schedule replacements.
• Identify, diagnose and resolve plant faults such as blockages, vibration, belt mistracking and recirculation issues.
• Conduct daily pre‑starts, toolbox talks, safety inspections and ensure all hazards are managed before work begins.
• Lead, train and mentor the crushing and screening crew, focusing on culturally appropriate knowledge transfer.
• Maintain detailed operating records, including plant settings, throughput, wear measurements and component changes.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising mobile crushing and screening equipment in a construction or mining environment.
• Strong understanding of plant safety, reliability and production optimisation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with construction managers, engineers and on‑site personnel.
• Willingness to work on a 21‑day on/21‑day off fly‑in‑fly‑out schedule.
