Customer Assistant – Retail Role in Bagenalstown

About the role

Lidl is looking for enthusiastic Customer Assistants to join its Bagenalstown store. You’ll work a 30‑hour week across various shifts, helping to create a seamless shopping experience for every customer.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Stock shelves, ensure product freshness and rotate inventory.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑presented store environment.
• Operate tills, manage queues and handle cash transactions.
• Follow stock loss controls and assist with stock counts.
• Manage waste correctly and support unsocial‑hour duties when required.

Required profile

• Positive, can‑do attitude with strong customer‑service focus.
• Reliable, responsible and able to work in a fast‑paced retail setting.
• Team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues.
• Must be 18 years or older to sell alcohol.
• Previous customer‑facing experience is a plus but not mandatory.
