Customer Service Assistant (Part‑time) – Crumlin & Firhouse

About the role

This part‑time position supports the shop manager in delivering an outstanding customer experience across two retail locations in Crumlin and Firhouse. You will help run the store smoothly, handle cash and bets, and act as a brand ambassador for the multi‑channel betting offering.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with daily store operations.
• Open and close the shop, ensuring all procedures are followed.
• Manage cash handling, including accepting and paying out bets via EPOS and betting terminals.
• Guide and support the shop team in the absence of senior managers.
• Maintain high standards of shop presentation and compliance with safety and social responsibility policies.
• Promote in‑shop and online products, introducing customers to digital channels.

Required profile

• Customer‑service oriented with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Strong numeracy and attention‑to‑detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Flexible to work 7‑day weeks and adapt to varying shift patterns.
• Interest in sports and betting industry, with a desire to build rapport with customers.

Required skills

• Experience or willingness to learn EPOS system operation.
• Familiarity with betting terminals and cash handling procedures.
