Data Architect

About the role

Our client, a leading IT consultancy with a growing Data & AI practice, is looking for an experienced Data Architect to join their Dublin City Centre team. This client‑facing position focuses on designing and delivering modern data platforms that support analytics, AI, reporting and business intelligence across enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise‑wide data architectures for analytics, reporting, AI and machine learning.
• Develop conceptual, logical and physical data models, including relational and dimensional modelling.
• Design and govern ETL/ELT frameworks for batch, real‑time and event‑driven integration.
• Drive data migration initiatives, including source‑to‑target mapping, profiling and transformation design.
• Define standards for data security, metadata management, data lineage and governance.
• Produce high‑level and low‑level design artefacts and technical documentation.
• Provide technical leadership to delivery teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect in complex enterprise or consulting environments.
• Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven experience delivering data solutions across cloud, hybrid and on‑premise landscapes.
• Excellent communication, workshop facilitation and stakeholder management abilities.
