About the role
KinetikIQ, a fast‑growing sports‑tech startup based in Galway, is seeking a Data Engineer to join its dynamic engineering team. You will help deliver key product phases while ensuring high quality, stability and security across the data stack.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines.
- Design and implement data models.
- Perform data analysis, code design, development, testing and optimisation.
- Train and test machine‑learning models.
- Contribute to the company’s artificial‑intelligence roadmap.
- Collaborate directly with the founding team and provide insights on product development.
- Lead data‑related projects and support broader data and AI initiatives.
Required profile
- Highly motivated and ambitious, with a strong leadership mindset.
- Self‑starter who can work autonomously and devise solutions without direct supervision.
- Creative problem‑solver capable of tackling novel challenges in movement health and AI.
