Deskside Engineer Level 1

About the role

Auxilion is looking for a Level 1 Deskside Engineer to provide on‑site technical support across multiple client locations in Dublin. You will act as a key point of contact for end‑users, delivering rapid incident resolution and ensuring smooth operation of their ICT equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve incidents in line with client processes and SLA requirements.
• Manage and update tickets in ServiceNow or other ITSM tools.
• Track, report and maintain all ICT assets.
• Hand over tasks and updates to relevant team members.
• Reproduce, diagnose and analyse user‑reported problems and implement solutions.
• Provide training and advice to users to optimise computer usage.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a deskside support role.
• At least 1 year experience in a technical support position.
• Strong problem‑solving and customer‑service abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Driving licence and own transport preferred.

• Microsoft Active Directory
• ServiceNow or similar ITSM ticketing tools
• Understanding of ITIL processes
• Asset Management and Escalation Management
• Fundamental knowledge of networks and servers
