DevOps Engineer – Build AI-Driven Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Platform Engineer to design and build the core infrastructure that powers AI‑driven drug discovery. This role focuses on creating new, scalable systems from scratch rather than maintaining existing tools.

Key responsibilities

• Develop containerised services using Docker and Podman.
• Design multi‑service environments with Docker Compose or Swarm.
• Build end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Create automation and internal tooling for engineering and R&D teams.
• Work at the Linux level – systemd, networking, shell scripting, debugging.
• Support compute‑intensive scientific and AI workloads.

Required profile

• Proven experience building infrastructure with Docker (beyond running containers).
• Strong Linux fundamentals and ability to troubleshoot at the system level.
• Hands‑on capability to design CI/CD pipelines from the ground up.
• Self‑starter who can independently structure complex infrastructure.
