DevOps Engineer – Build AI-driven infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Platform Engineer to design and build the core infrastructure that powers AI‑driven drug discovery. This role focuses on creating new, container‑based systems from the ground up rather than maintaining existing cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop containerised platforms using Docker and Podman.
• Architect multi‑service environments with Docker Compose or Swarm.
• Design and implement end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Create automation and internal tooling for engineering and R&D teams.
• Work at the Linux system level – systemd, networking, shell scripting and debugging.
• Support compute‑intensive scientific and AI workloads.

Required profile

• Proven experience building infrastructure with Docker, not just running containers.
• Hands‑on ability to design CI/CD pipelines from scratch.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and troubleshooting skills.
• Independent and capable of structuring infrastructure systems without relying on pre‑built solutions.
