DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join The Dock’s engineering team. You will shape secure, scalable, and high‑performing cloud environments while collaborating with engineers, architects, data scientists, and product owners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
• Develop and manage cloud‑native infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep/ARM).
• Deploy and operate containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/GKE).
• Implement monitoring, logging, tracing and health‑check frameworks.
• Embed security throughout the lifecycle (DevSecOps, secrets management, vulnerability scanning).
• Manage network access, VPNs and firewalls to meet internal compliance.
• Contribute to technical decisions, communicating trade‑offs and risks.
• Drive continuous improvement of development practices and code quality.
• Leverage AI tools to automate workflows and support documentation.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in DevOps within agile delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP relevant).
• Proven ability to work with infrastructure‑as‑code and container orchestration.
• Experience contributing to planning, estimation and sprint delivery.
• Growth mindset with a focus on learning and knowledge sharing.
