Digital FR Service Engineer

About the role

Huawei Europe is seeking a Digital FR Service Engineer to support its customers in Dublin. The role involves pre‑sales testing, technical workshops, and hands‑on commissioning of solar‑PV and energy‑storage solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pre‑sales testing support and conduct technical workshops for customers and partners.
• Log, track and resolve issues reported by customers, acting as the interface with R&D.
• Train customers during kick‑off meetings, hardware/software training, and acceptance testing.
• Support commissioning, including technical inspection of inverter installations and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Energy or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven technical and service experience, preferably with channel management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with partners across cultures.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, project management and operational skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Solar‑PV and/or energy‑storage markets.
• Experience with inverter installation inspection and corrective actions.
