Digital Power FR Engineer

About the role

Huawei Europe is seeking a Digital Power FR Engineer to support its solar‑PV and energy‑storage solutions in Ireland. The role combines pre‑sales technical assistance, on‑site commissioning, and post‑sale support to ensure customers receive high‑quality service throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pre‑sales testing support and conduct technical workshops for customers and partners.
• Assist sales and solution teams, log customer‑reported issues, and coordinate resolutions.
• Deliver training and guidance before, during, and after construction, including kick‑off meetings, hardware/software training, and acceptance testing.
• Support customers during commissioning, verify inverter installations, and apply corrective actions as needed.
• Act as the liaison between customers and R&D to resolve technical problems.
• Handle second‑ and third‑line support, including on‑site assistance for critical issues.
• Monitor on‑site operation quality, perform analyses, and drive improvement processes.

Required profile

• Science or engineering degree (e.g., Electrical, Energy, Mechanical).
• Technical and service experience with channel management.
• Familiarity with the solar‑PV and energy‑storage markets is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with multicultural teams.
• Problem‑solving insight and project operation experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
