Director, Global Safety Regulatory Compliance

About the role

Match Group is looking for a Director to lead its Global Safety Regulatory Compliance program. Based in the central Trust & Safety team, you will translate evolving worldwide regulations into actionable compliance solutions across all of the company’s dating brands.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze current and upcoming global trust‑and‑safety regulations and maintain a centralized repository of requirements.
• Communicate regulatory changes to brand stakeholders, enabling innovation while ensuring compliance.
• Prepare and deliver executive‑level briefings on regulatory themes and compliance status.
• Design and manage cross‑functional programs to implement compliance requirements, including project plans, timelines, and milestones.
• Coordinate with Legal, Privacy, Government Relations, Communications, Product Management and data‑science teams on transparency reporting, disclosures, and audit documentation.
• Act as the primary point of contact for regulator inquiries related to trust and safety.

Required profile

• Proven experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within online platforms or consumer‑facing tech.
• Strong analytical judgment and the ability to synthesize complex legal requirements into clear business actions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience briefing senior leadership.
• Comfort working as a bridge between regulators, internal governance, and product teams.
