About the role
The Director of Cyber Defence will lead the global Security Operations Centre (SOC), incident response, and threat detection functions across 14 international brands. Reporting to the Group CISO, you will shape enterprise‑wide cyber defence strategy and drive maturity in detection and response.
Key responsibilities
- Own global SOC, incident response and cyber resilience programmes at director level.
- Design and evolve a modern SOC operating model, tooling and automation strategy.
- Lead a 15‑person cyber defence team, scaling capabilities across regions.
- Develop and maintain standardised playbooks, processes and governance aligned to NIST CSF 2.0.
- Partner with executive leadership, regulators and senior stakeholders on key cyber initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven leadership experience at Head, Director or VP level in SOC and incident response environments.
- Track record of building and scaling enterprise SOC capabilities in global organisations.
- Strong operational expertise across SOC, threat hunting, detection engineering and cyber resilience.
