EHS Specialist – Rathdrum and Tallaght

About the role

Zoetis is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support its Rathdrum API site and Tallaght pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging site. Reporting to the EHS Lead, you will own the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS programs, ensuring safe, compliant and reliable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate EHS requirements while supporting plant profitability.
• Develop, maintain and conduct risk assessments across all functions.
• Own the industrial hygiene program and manage permit‑to‑work systems.
• Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Oversee EHS aspects of capital‑expenditure projects and the management‑of‑change process.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives toward zero accidents and incidents.

Required profile

• Proven experience in EHS roles within pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of Irish and EU EHS regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and influence change.
